The Gaping Hole in Mueller’s Russiagate Investigation: The Steele Dossier:

Mueller’s Pro-Hillary attorneys, like the mainstream media, had no interest in pursuing the real Russian collusion story

Mueller’s incoherent, inconsistent and incredulous testimony before Congress has discredited and exposed the entire investigation into Russian collusion as nothing more than a partisan witch hunt. By virtue of his appalling ignorance on basic matters concerning the subject matter of his investigation, it was clear he turned matters over to his pro-HIllary staff attorneys.

It is interesting to recall how disinterested the mainstream media was about the genesis of the whole Russian collusion narrative and the breadcrumbs trail that led to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Mueller’s overtly biased staff attorneys’ had about as much interest as political journalists did in chasing the real Russia collusion story, i.e., none

We now know of course, that it was Hillary’s campaign that paid a retired British spy, Christopher Steele, to go to Russia for the sole purpose of concocting a tale of Trump campaign collusion with Russia. The Steele dossier was a wholly fabricated document rife with speculations, double hearsay, falsehoods and outright lies. One such story had Trump urinating on the hotel bed where Obama stayed in Russia. The dossier was later used as a basis to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

Hillary’s gambit was wildly successful and perfectly complimented her whirlwind tour to pitch her new book. The Steele dossier was the proximate cause for the appointment of a special counsel, Robert Mueller.

After her adept planting of the Russian collusion idea, the media followed in lock-step and in a display of unrelenting tenacity would make this ruse the central topic that would dominate their reporting on the Trump Administration.

Not one prominent media outlet questioned the source of the Steele dossier, the veracity of

its underlying assumptions and the Clinton campaign’s inextricable association with the former British spy who was paid by Hillary and who submitted this story to the FBI, the intelligence agencies and the media, all with the singular purpose of defeating a political opponent during a presidential election.

Hillary’s fomenting the Russia bogeyman through her campaign’s payments to a thoroughly discredited ex-British spy was pure Clintonian genius: dissembling, deflection and deceit all conceived by a woman who had years of political experience using the same odious tactics against her and her husband’s enemies. The Clintons had many years experience manipulating the media and their proficiency was on display.

The media assisted in giving Hillary’s phantasmagoria legs when they failed to report on what was perhaps one of the most salient facts concerning the chimera of Trump/Russian collusion: that the attempts at election interference were well known by the Obama Administration. Michael Goodwin of the New York Post perspicaciously noted the galling hypocrisy and misdirection employed by the mainstream media to exonerate and shield Obama from any blame, “For all the focus on Russia, the media totally missed a key point. To wit, that the Obama administration did nothing about Vladimir Putin’s attempt to interfere in the 2016 election even though the White House knew about it for months.”

That is to say, for the media, the only Russia angle worth reporting was the one that supported Hillary’s post-election explanation for her loss: the wholly unfounded, fact-free idea that Trump in concert with Putin robbed Hillary of her rightful crown. The craven media wholeheartedly embraced the story as did Mueller’s inveterately biased staff attorneys.
